Will the child object to the suction?

It depends on the child.
 
Some of them:

• Are afraid in the beginning, but once this mostly due to the noise of the vacuum cleaner. As they get accustomed to the vacuum cleaner they become more at ease.
• Are afraid of the suction in the nose, but once they realise that the Nasal-Vac brings relief they will actually start asking for it.
